Andrew is the Group CEO of TEAL, the UK’s largest specialist toy business and owner of The Entertainer, Early Learning Centre & Addo Play. Operating as a designer, sourcer, franchisor, wholesaler, retailer and concessionaire, TEAL leverages these capabilities across the UK, in over 1000 locations, and in 21 countries overseas; through wholly owned retail channels and partner businesses. Andrew spent the first 30 years of his career at the John Lewis Partnership - latterly as Group Chief Operating Officer, leaving to co-found GreenFox Energy - a provider of solar energy services - and undertake senior advisory work for Bain & Co prior to joining TEAL. Andrew was awarded OBE for services to Retail in the King's 2024 New Years Honours, recognising over two decades of work with government, local authorities and across the private sector to nurture, advocate and grow the UK's retail industry. Andrew holds what's proved to be a largely useless MA in Politics from The University of Aberdeen and splits his time between Amersham, London and his home near Edinburgh, where he lives with his wife, Jane, their three sons and a deranged, but loveable, Cocker Spaniel called Lyra.
